NCSU Insect Collection Species Inventory Database


This database is a work in progress. It was conceived and conceptually designed by Bob Blinn who also designed the Access database, which maintains the data. Included here is a listing of the species, along with the number of specimens and other pertinent information, contain in the NCSU Insect Collection. Although not complete over 21,000 species are presently included. If there is a particular taxon that is not included in the database please contact Bob Blinn and we will strive to add that group to the database.
